Get everything measured and listed ready for a quote
Before You Start
This tool will help you create a complete list of everything you need for your kitchen door replacement project.
You'll need:
- A tape measure (measuring in mm)
- Paper and pen for your sketch
- About 20-30 minutes
The Sketch Method
The best way to avoid mistakes is to sketch your kitchen first:
- Draw front views of each wall with units on it
- Number your doors (1, 2, 3...)
- Letter your drawer fronts (A, B, C...)
- Mark panels and plinth at the ends
- Tick off each item on your sketch as you enter it
Pro tip
As you measure each item, tick it off on your sketch. Group identical sizes together - if doors 1, 3 and 5 are all the same, enter the size once with quantity 3.
Count Your Items
Tap each section to expand. Add what applies to your kitchen.
Blum soft-close clip-on. 2 per standard door, 3 per tall door over 850mm.

100mm wide strips for gaps - edged all round
Plinth / Kickboard
Around base of floor units. 2.8m lengths. Type to change the height.

Vinyl & Edging

External (box only - no front)
Door Measurements
Measure each door - height first, then width. Measure the back of the door, not the front (edges may be profiled).
💡 Measure the door, not the unit
Doors are typically 4mm smaller than the cabinet. If you measure the cabinet and order that size, the doors won't fit properly.
Drawer Front Measurements
Measure each drawer front - height first, then width. Include oven filler panels here too.
End Panel Measurements
Measure each end panel - height first, then width. These cover the visible ends of your cabinets.
Glazed Door Measurements
Measure each glazed door - height first, then width. Made-to-measure sizes available.
